This is announcement!!!

For all my customers, I will close my Etsy shop during Aug 7th-Oct 16th.
I don't close completely my Etsy shop yet but I don't get any order from today to Oct 16th.
(I also added this announcement on top of my page just in case.)

I'm sorry this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
I will miss crafting HAPPY items for my customers though.
I hope I can get more inspirations from watching, eating, feeling many things while I will be in Japan and I can create something new for my shop in the future!

However, I will update my blog even when I will be in Japan, so I'd be happy if you could enjoy to see my Japanese life through my blog:)

I will be excited to do business with my customers soon again!!

* Friday *

Yesterday, as soon as I woke up I started to clean the house as much as I could so that my husband will not need to clean a little bit longer. Kitchen, bathroom, toilet, living and bed room...Also I had hair cut to Kai(Hairy one:P) and then I gave shampoo for both of them.

After that I had an lesson for my student. It was quite Go-Go day yesterday, so as soon as I got home I was passed out around 3:30 p.m. 

At evening, I stopped by my friend's condo to get her shopping list so that I can get something for her when I go back to Japan. And then my my husband took me to see the movie "The Change-up" that I was so excited to see so bad > <
OMG, that movie was so hilarious in a good way and bad way both. Sometimes too much bad jokes for me but I could enjoy the most:D
Before we saw the movie we went to this place called "Mojo" where we can get frozen yogurt with a lot of flavors ice cream and toppings! I was really interested in this place since so long time ago and finally I could go > <  

I got this, Skinny Blueberry and Vanilla Soy Ice Cream with Mochi&Raspberry toppings!
Isn't this cute dessert?:D

 So fun to create my own ice cream cup and the taste was Yummy!

My husband got Butter cake Ice cream with his favorite candy Peanut Butter cup topping :)

His dessert was very rich but really tasty as well :)

It was fantastic Friday night, thank you baby!!!!!

Tomorrow will be the very last day for me that I can spend time with him and my dogs....
I hope it will be wonderful day!!!

* Getting closer *

Yes, it's getting closer day by day to leave here :(
The most I'm sad about??? Of course my husband.... 
Without his help I couldn't make to fly to Japan so I ordered Thank You Card for him secretary.
This is what I got.

This company that I always order for my family and friends...is awesome!
You can create your own card(You can add pictures and messages, if you don't have any ideas they will give you great messages as well;) ). The most I like for this company is their service. So nice :)
Sometimes they have really great discount and this time I got this card for only $1.00!!! Much cuter than any other kind of cards from the stores and it's much more personal card!

I know my husband is not messy guy but kind of (kind of) clean guy but for the best result for keeping clean I needed to make a list for him. I thought it was going to be only a slice of papers but actually it became a couple papers... OMG I didn't realize how many things I do all the time for cleaning.

* Everything is last...(This weekdays)*

This week went extremely so fast since I had so many things to do!
I got some orders from my customers(Thank you!) and I had to make more HAPPY items.

Also I was almost gonna get an order from this customer who is from CANADA.
Wow...Canada! Isn't it wonderful?? I had many orders from foreign countries for my fake dessert but never had real dessert before and it made me so excited and happy!!! But since I'll leave for Japan soon I had to tell her about leaving, but she seemed like she'll be still interested in my real dessert when I get back to the States. So I was glad > < Sorry inconvenience but thank you for your interest a lot!

Other than working on my items I still needed to go shopping for my family. 

One day my husband took me to the mall and stores and finally we got some T-shirts for my sister and brother in law. I hope they will like it!!

Then after shopping my love showed me around the mall so that I could take some pictures to show my family in Japan. Thank you love > <

These days I've been trying to cook as much as I can:) Not dessert but proper meals for my husaband LOL 
This is what I've cooked recently..
This is I got from my Pakistan friend. It's a Pakistan Bread.
Taste is amazing! It's a little bit salty but sweet as well:) Texture is kind of Pie but with sticky and I love it. I need to ask her how to make this soon. 

 This is marinated Chicken(Tomato&Basil seasoning) with some veggies.

This is Omelet (inside was some sauteed veggies). I always draw smiley face on top with ketchup :P

* Everything is last....(Last Sat) *

On Sat, I woke up 5 and started to bake :)
We got invited for dinner at one of my Japanese friend house so I decided to bake for dessert and also I wanted to give something for her as a gift.
I baked Gooey Butter Cake which is originally come from St.Louis where we used to live and it's our one of our favorite dessert(I know I know I have a lot of favorite..:P).

so far so good:)

Put the oven and wait for 45 mins!!!

But......

Although I did exactly same process that I used to do before a lot, this time it was so fluffy and end up becoming completely different looking dessert :( :( I guess it's because this weather? so dry and hot???
I don't know...but anyways, I couldn't bring like this looking so I decided to make something different.
(I was so glad that I woke up so early on Sat morning though!)

I baked this Apple Upside-down cake for the next. 

This time I did good job I guess :)

As a gift, I also baked Mochi cake which is my best recipe!!!!!
I'd heard that my friend love sweet soy beans paste I added in it:D
This one was great looking I think.

After I was done for baking(whew......), I had Japanese lesson for my student as a last lesson before I leave. We went to University's library.

I had an lesson with these little cute sisters:)
I will miss you guys too!!! When I get back to the States, let's have fun again ok?;)

After finished my lesson, both we were hungry but we didn't wanna eat too much because we needed to have some space for dinner at my friend's house so I got this little cute mini brizzard from DQ(of couse :P) This time I got simply cappucino brizzard with no topping! It was good as always!

I was so tired at this moment already since I woke up 5, so until we left to my friend's place I had an small nap. These pictures are from my friend's house!She has such a beautiful house and also such a great family!!!! Everyone was really nice to us:) Thank you so much for having us > <
She cooked Tempura and so many other kinds of dishes as well:)

Before we left her house all we took picture together:) We were acting goofy :P

* Everything is last...(Last Sun) *

On Sat, my husband took me go on a Hiking date:)
I've never been to hiking before(I had for climbing the Mt.) so I was really excited!!
We woke up at 6a.m., left home at 6:30 and drove about 2.5 hrs to get there.
It was fantastic view when we got there, just speechless/breathtaking view for 360 degree.

 This is the starting point !

 I'm so ready baby!!!! Let's start!!!!!:D

Walked, walked and walked....keep going......

 After 2 hours hiking, this stream suddenly appeared in front of us :D

After past that stream we found the camp fire so I danced in front of that :P
I didn't know my love took this picture LOL

 After we took 1 hour lunch break, finally time to go back to hike!!! excited to go back but not excited to go back because all what we had to do was just going up up up.....especially under the heavy sunlight > < I was actually quite ok, I could keep going(I guess because I used to climb the Mt. with my grandpa when I was kid? :P) but my husband looked so tired...hang in there baby!!! almost!!!!

After 2.5 hrs hiking finally we got top! 
We were extremely thirsty so we stopped by gas station to get water, I can't believe I could drink almost 100 oz up !!!! so did he !!!!!

On the way home I got this as reward for myself :P It was the bestest ever Sonic Blast in my life :P
