* New Flavors for Mochi Cake *

My shoulder is still in pain...Also 6 hours for floating on the river under the sun took all of my energy yesterday and I was passed out so fast as soon as I went to bed last night.
Today is Memorial Day! I'm happy because my husband is off work and we might come visit to his parents' house today. But no more sun for me today, I will be under the shadow for resting my red lobster body lol

Before we will go their house, I decided to make new flavored MOCHI CAKE for them, so now I'm baking>< Baking is always fun fun fun and makes me HAPPY!!!! This time I'm not making my original recipe but trying a little bit western style by using Butter Scotch Chocolate Chips and White Chocolate Chips. I hope it will be great taste for Mochi Cake, cross fingers!!!

Hmm....my kitchen is so sweet smell right now, I love it!!!

* Treasury List *

Yesterday was a BLAST!!!
Me and my husband and his friends, we went to the river for float trip. I've never had this experience before and I was really excited! We left home around 7:30 a.m. and came back home around 4:00 p.m. Almost 6 hours we were floating on the river. Drinking, eating, chilling or sleeping it was just so peaceful and I had really fun time with everyone!! I do want to do that again for sure!!but now I'm like a lobster, yes I got burned especially on my shoulder and it hurts..I guess I needed to put lotion more...

Anyways, after fun time I came back home and checked my Etsy shop and guess what!???:D
My HAPPY item REAL FAKE CHOCOLATE MAGNETS were featured as treasury list on one of my fan >< Yaaaayyyy!!!
This made my so happy the end of the day last night, thank you!!!

DANGO is a Japanese dessert which is made by rice flower and looks exactly like this ;)

* Snow cone & Ice carem *

Long time no updated...
These day I'm getting some custom orders through my Esty shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheRealFakeBakery which is really nice and exciting to me!
So last week, I made this ice cream charm, this lady she created new ice cream flavor with her best friend and she wanted to have their original ice cream's pendant. Her request was vanilla ice cream with Kix(it's cereal) so that I imagined what would it look like if I saw this kind? and finally I could make it!

  I hope they will like these items!

The other day I also got a offering if I can make snow cone's charm from this lady who is a wedding blogger and she'll be married soon><  Her blog name is snow cone that's why she wants to decorate with her icon 'Snow Cone' on her bouquet or dress on her wedding. How exciting!!! we are still communicating now but if she would like me to make one of her wedding decoration I'd be so honored><  I'm excited to think about how I can create this snow cone for her now!

* Mochi Cake *

What a HAPPY news!!!
Since I've opened my Esty shop (--> http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheRealFakeBakery ), I could have sold some FAKE items(Thank you for my customers!) but never could have sold my REAL product.
Baking is actually my favorite thing to do in my life and I do would like everyone to try my baking,especially my MOCHI CAKE!!!!

In the States, it's still this MOCHI CAKE is unfamiliar but I'm certainly sure that this MOCHI CAKE would be loved by many people because it's much much healthier than any other kind of sugary cake and great sticky texture so that you can satisfy easily and wonderful GREEN TEA flavor!!!
Anyways, so today, I got an order from this sweet customer who would like to give one of her friend for Birthday!!
Isn't it so nice??? >< Not only I've gotten my very first order for my Real Baked Item at Etsy shop but also this sweetness of her to her friend made me really HAPPY.

I'm really excited to bake this cake for her friend and I will look forward to hearing from her how was the taste >< Hopefully one day my MOCHI CAKE will be familiar and loved by everyone!!!

* Miniature Cupcakes etc..*

Last week passed so fast!

I've been making fake foods, finding some good ideas for new items, crafting and editing pictures etc on weekdays, then updating some items at my Etsy shop (--> http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheRealFakeBakery) on weekends. Besides these things, me and my husband spent time together such as going shopping, cooking together and going to our friend's BD party!!It was blast!!!

As I'm a baker, I got asked from my friend to bake a BD cake for her husband's BD and it was fun as always;) I hope he liked it!!!

Anyways, another new week has started today and I've started to make my new HAPPY items(miniature cupcakes). These cupcakes are much smaller than the one I made before as photo stands, so it might be charms or magnets, don't decide yet but I'm really excited to complete these cupcakes><

Today, I could work on a lot of things.
I didn't study for an exam anyways (oops!) since I've been sooo focus on making HAPPY item for my customer and totally forgot about it :p Also I met one of my good friend who came visit me this afternoon and we've just talked talked and talked. Never be unexciting girls talk right? lol

Then, I've packed my completed HAPPY items for my customer, so now it's totally ready for shipping:D

and she asked if I can make her custom ordering. Of course I WOULD LOVE TO!!!

* Ugh.... *

One day this week, I might need to go to Drivers License Department to get my drivers license.
I had my license in the States before but since I got married with my husband and moved to here from other state and seems like I need to take exams both paper and driving again...hah...so today will be my study day....:( NOT fun...

I wish they can let me take an exam in Japanese, please!!!

Before starting study, I'm having early breakfast for myself.
This is my original strawberry smoothie. Hmmm yum yum...

Then I'm still working on custom orders that I got last weekend(What a great news!!!I got a lot of custom ordering ><)

* Friday Night *

What a great news!!!!

I got a custom order from one of my customers on last Friday thru Etsy.

So as soon as I finished my dinner I started to work on it.

This is our Friday dinner "Fish & Chips" from our local shop. Very reasonable price but great taste!!!

* New Happy Item OREO *

Yesterday, before I had dinner I made new molds for the new items,It's OREO!!!!
So I'm working on it this morning.
I'm excited how does it look like gonna be? :D
Also after I make these OREO I'm gonna make more cream puffs before my husband gets up.

* Cheesecake Sfflle *

This is my family's favorite dessert named "Japanese Cheesecake Sfflle" .
It's fluffy, light cheesecake and once you put it on your tongue it will melt in your mouth!!!!

Don't get me wrong I LOVE american type of Cheesecake for sure! Rich, creamy and heavy....(don't wanna think about calorie...lol)  Hmmm......yum yum...

Oops...my husband just came back from happy hour with his coworkers now, so I was going to post more but I'm extremely hungry so we will get some Fish&Chips tonight :D Yay, no more red peppers lol

* Biscotti *

One of my favorite treat is BISCOTTI.
Breakfast,Afternoon tea or even late night snack with a cup of hot coffee, doesn't it sound good???

Hmmm....yum yum..

But but .....

I actually don't like biscotti, (I know this sounds so strange!) because I don't like that dry hard texture.

Biscotti is supposed to be dry this is well known for everybody so that people can enjoy dipping in the hot coffee make it softer.  I do know this is true but I just can't enjoy with that texture personally, that's why I made MY KIND of Biscotti which is not too dry, not too airy and a lot of chocolate chips :P
It's kind of sconish texture you can imagine I guess? ;)


I was afraid to share for my friends&family when I made this first time, but now they are my biscotti's fun!!:D

So today, I noticed that I don't have any afternoon treat for myself so I baked Biscotti!
This time I baked Butterscotch Biscotti!!These are not on my Etsy shop list since I baked healthier version.
I used whole wheat flour instead of flour and I reduced half amount of sugar and 1/3 amount of butter.

But amazingly tastes good >< yay!!!

According to my husband who brought these biscottis for his snack at work these days, I might gonna share some to my friends and get their opinions! If they give me good comments then I might gonna put on my shop one day!!! excited!!!!!

* U.K? FRANCE? *

I'm living in the States with my husband who helped me a lot for opening my shop at Etsy.

How amazing is that:D I know international shipping cost a quite higher than domestic shipping but as long as there are some people who love my products I'd love to share :)

So today, I shipped my happy items to them!!! Bye bye and make them HAPPY!!!

This my blog here,of course I'd love to share my happy products but also I'd love to share my daily life because what I feel what I think what I see...everything is interesting since I'm from Japan:)

I guess it's gonna be almost my food picture blog :p but hopefully someone can enjoy as I do ;)

I LOVE eating, baking and creating something unique to make people happy!
Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE taking picture of foods, it doesn't matter if it' just daily meal or restaurant's fancy meal...just LOVE taking picture.  Foods always make me HAPPY!!

These days, my husband he decided to go on a diet and he got a lot of red peppers since peppers are one of his favorite vegetable. So our fridge is full of red color....
